Best Playgrounds in Quezon City Right Now (2026 Update)

I wrote about playgrounds near Trinoma a few years back, and that post has been one of the most visited on this blog. So it's about time I updated it — and expanded it beyond just that one area.

QC has actually gotten a lot more options for kids in the last couple of years. From the classic free spaces to brand-new indoor spots, here's what's worth your time (and your weekend) in 2026.

FREE & OUTDOOR

1. Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) — The OG Family Spot

If you've been to the Circle even once, you know why families keep coming back. It's massive, it's free to enter, and there's genuinely a lot to do — especially for kids who just need to run.

The Circle of Joy is the free playground inside the park. It has slides, tunnels, monkey bars, swings, seesaws, and roundabouts — all on artificial grass matting so it's a bit softer for tumbles. Trees keep most of it shaded throughout the day, which is a huge plus in this heat.

If you want to level up, there's the Circle of Fun — a small amusement park within the park with rides like the carousel, tea cups, sea dragon, and a roller coaster. Most rides are in the ₱40–₱100 range per head, and even toddlers can join most rides as long as there's an adult with them.

There are also bike rentals (solo, with sidecar, and kiddie sizes), a paddle swan on the lagoon, a garden train, and go-karts. A full family day out here — rides and all — can run around ₱900 or less depending on which activities you choose.

What to know:

• Open daily, 5 AM onwards
• Entrance to the park is free; rides and activities have separate fees
• Gets crowded on weekend afternoons — come in the morning
• Lots of food stalls inside, so merienda is sorted

Budget: Free entry + ₱100–₱500 for rides depending on kids' age and interest

INDOOR (MALL-BASED)

2. Fantasy World — SM City Fairview (NEW!)

This one opened in late 2024 and it's been on every QC parent's radar since. Fantasy World at SM City Fairview spans nearly 3,000 square meters, making it one of the largest indoor playgrounds in the country — and it really does feel massive when you walk in.

Features include the Naughty Castle (which houses what they claim is the country's largest indoor slide), a giant ball pit, trampoline park, obstacle courses, wall climbing, a mini zipline, and a toddler playhouse for the younger kids. They also have roller skating and bumper cars.

Ticket options let you pick just the sections you want or go all-access — so you can tailor it to your budget and your kid's interests. Rates start from around ₱199 for individual sections; all-access passes are higher. Check their official pages for current pricing before you go.

What to know:

• Located at 2nd Level, Central Walk, SM City Fairview
• Open during mall hours (roughly 10 AM–10 PM)
• Socks are required — bring your own or buy at the counter
• Great for kids 4 and up; the toddler playhouse covers the younger ones

3. PlayTown Kids Cafe — West Avenue, QC

PlayTown is one of my personal favorites for younger kids — specifically ages 6 months to about 9 years old. It's tucked away on the 4th floor of Hollywood Square on West Avenue, so it's not inside a mall — but trust me, it's worth finding.

The facility is well-maintained and staff regularly clean up to ensure a hygienic environment. There's a ball pit, ride-on cars, slides, and various themed stations for imaginative play. What really sets it apart for parents is the cafe — you can sit, order coffee, and actually watch the kids through a CCTV monitor at your table. That's not something most indoor playgrounds offer.

They also run a Happy Hour promo: 50% off the walk-in rate on weekday mornings from 10 AM to 1 PM (Mondays to Thursdays, excluding holidays). If you can swing a weekday visit, that's the move.

What to know:

• Best for kids 6 months to 9 years
• No reservation needed for walk-in play
• Limited parking in the building, so factor that in

4. DinoLand — SM City North EDSA

DinoLand offers an enchanted forest-themed walk with dinosaur animatronics and aesthetic light installations. There's a Dino Dig section where kids can experience digging for fossils in sand, plus a play structure for climbing, jumping, and more active play. They also have VR rollercoaster rides, ball pits, and token games.

It's more of a themed experience than a pure playground, which makes it feel special — especially for kids who are into dinosaurs (so, most kids). Located at Level 3, City Center, SM City North EDSA.

What to know:

• Open roughly during mall hours (10 AM–10 PM)
• Non-slip socks required — buy at the counter if needed
• Good for ages 3 and up; younger kids may find the animatronics startling

Budget: Token-based; budget around ₱300–₱600 per child depending on activities chosen

A FEW TIPS FROM A QC MOM

After years of weekend playground runs, here's what I've learned:

Bring your own socks. Almost every indoor playground now requires non-slip socks, and buying at the venue costs more. Keep a pair or two in your bag permanently.

Go on weekdays if you can. Weekends at any of these spots — especially QMC and SM-based playgrounds — can get genuinely packed. Weekday mornings are calmer, less crowded, and sometimes cheaper (PlayTown's Happy Hour, for example).

Bring snacks. Even if the venue has a cafe, kids will get hungry the moment you're in the middle of something. A few easy snacks in your bag saves a lot of grief.

Set a budget before you go in. For the token-based places especially, kids will always want "one more." Decide on an amount beforehand and stick to it — it's much easier than negotiating at the counter.
