5 Ways to Make Money At Home

1. Sell online.

As the years go buy your kids get older and their stuff turns into heaps of disarray. Find time to sort their things and declutter. Clean them and sell them online. The world wide web has many sites that you can offer your second-hand items and there are many parents willing to buy your products for a reasonable price.

Our kids are now turning six and we started selling the belongings that they didn't need. Strollers, cribs, baby carriers, breast pumps, shoes, clothes etch have a market out there. On top of their items, put on sale what you don't need too. Since the start of the year, we were able to make an extra income of around 5000 a month selling online. 2. Teach English.

Teaching English to Koreans and Japanese is still a need these days. If you're good at it, try applying for a job online so you don't have to deal with the traffic and avoid getting stressed with the daily commute. The compensation ranges from 45 to 100+ per hour, and you can work part-time or full time. Before signing up, check their compensation packages. 3. Bake and Sell.

Here's a story of one of my childhood friends.  She found her love of baking when she was a teen but she pursued a business course and went to work for one of the biggest IT companies as a tech support. But she still loved to bake, so she kept baking cookies and pastries and creating designer cakes. One order will keep her up all night (or day, when she's working the night shift), but she earns a minimum of P3500 to P15,000 per cake depending on how complicated the design is.

If you have a knack for baking, go for it! Offer free-tastes on cookies, or bake for your relatives. They can be your first customers and word could spread around on how good your products are. Don't forget to make them social-media worthy too. :)

4. Offer Tutorials.

Tutorial centers can be found almost at every corner in the city but they can be a bit pricey. If you know a parent who is looking for tutors at home, and you know you're worthy of the needed subjects, offer them your services.  You can bill them hourly, weekly or monthly.

5. Blog.

It's not new I know, but if you have spare time and you have topics you are passionate about, you can start a blog or a website. Remember to put ads to drive traffic and get paid for it. I went to a conference and there's this 13-year-old boy who started blogging about a game. He kept on writing and writing on his blog and he claims he's now earning 5 figures online without having to do anything. If you are online most of the time, it's that point wherein you have to close your Facebook page and do something productive.
